Panik Records has disputed claims made by the nightclub Romeo about the end of its collaboration with singer Katerina Liolliou, who is signed to the label.
The record company said the agreement had been made in writing for a specific period, rejecting the venue's version of events.
Dates in dispute
In a social media post, Panik Records said Liolliou's collaboration with Romeo had been agreed in writing to run from April 17 to July 25, 2026. It called any claim that the deal was meant to last until January 2027 unfounded and false.
The label said the collaboration was carried out exactly as agreed, and that Liolliou fulfilled every obligation with consistency and respect toward the business, its staff and the public. It described her professional conduct as proven throughout her career and called any suggestion otherwise unfounded and offensive.
Panik Records said the season ended with major artistic and commercial success, thanking those involved and the audience. It added that it does not want public confrontation but must set the record straight when the company and its associates are affected, stressing that agreements have clear start and end dates that are recorded, upheld and not reinterpreted afterward.
