Oleksiy Honcharenko listed in Myrotvorets database

Ukrainian lawmaker Oleksiy Honcharenko has been added to the database of the public website Myrotvorets following his recent statements regarding negotiations and potential agreements with Russia.

The website published a dossier on the parliamentarian, describing him as a professional provocateur and a political populist. The resource accused him of conscious, systemic, and intentional actions designed to demoralize society, suppress the public will to resist Russian aggression, benefit Russian invaders, and disrupt Ukrainian mobilization efforts.

Myrotvorets, which translates as Peacekeeper, is an independent online database founded in Kyiv that publishes personal details and profiles of individuals its maintainers consider to be threats to Ukrainian national security.

Proposals for peace

The profile was created after Honcharenko called on Ukraine to open negotiations with Russia and agree to a series of concessions to bring an end to the war.

Specifically, the deputy proposed easing international sanctions against Russia in exchange for a halt to long-range strikes, reopening the Black Sea for shipping, and narrowing active combat strictly to the front line in the Donbas region.

He also raised the possibility of returning to discussions on Ukraine's neutral status, its cooperation with the NATO military alliance, national language legislation, and the status of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Donbas is an industrial basin in eastern Ukraine encompassing the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, while Ukraine enshrined its aspiration to join NATO in its constitution in 2019. The Black Sea serves as the country's primary maritime corridor for agricultural and economic trade.

Faction cuts ties

On October 5, Honcharenko published a 50-point list that he said demonstrated his pro-Ukrainian position.

However, the parliamentary faction of the European Solidarity party announced on October 5 that it was terminating political cooperation with Honcharenko in light of his comments.

European Solidarity, an opposition party led by former President Petro Poroshenko, explained that the decision was rooted in fundamental ideological differences over how the war should end and what structure Ukraine's future security architecture should take.
