Micro-Star International has unveiled the MSI Cubi NUC WCG, an ultra-compact desktop computer measuring just half a litre in total volume.
The small machine measures 136 by 113 by 40 millimetres and is powered by Intel Wildcat Lake processors. Customers will be able to choose configurations equipped with the Core 7 350, the Core 5 315, or the Core 3 304 chip.
MSI showcased a distinct enclosure design feature called MSI Tool-less 2.0. The mechanism relies on a special lever positioned at the bottom of the casing, allowing users to release and remove the lower cover easily without tools to access the internal hardware.
While MSI has not disclosed specific details regarding the cooling system, the miniature computer appears to use active cooling rather than a passive design.

Hardware expansion and connectivity
Inside the case, the system provides slots for two memory modules and a single solid-state drive for storage. The dual memory slots and drive bay allow owners to configure system memory and storage capacity. Wireless networking features support for Wi-Fi 6E, which utilizes the 6 GHz spectrum for lower latency, alongside Bluetooth 5.4 for peripheral connections.

Despite its compact footprint, the unit includes 13 connectors in total when counting the headphone jack. The front panel is equipped with four USB Type-A ports, offering direct access for attaching everyday accessories such as flash drives, keyboards, and mice.
The rear panel houses two RJ45 Ethernet ports for wired network connections, two HDMI outputs for multi-monitor setups, and two additional USB Type-A ports. It also includes two USB Type-C ports, one of which supports the Thunderbolt 4 protocol, providing high-speed data transmission and external display connectivity through a single interface.
Mini PC market and release
Micro-Star International, commonly known as MSI, is a Taiwanese technology manufacturer founded in 1986 that produces motherboards, graphics cards, laptops, and desktop computers. Its Cubi family represents the mini PC segment, where compact hardware delivers standard desktop capabilities for office environments, digital signage, and space-constrained workspaces.
Mini PCs have grown increasingly popular as replacements for bulky tower computers, combining low power consumption with sufficient computing power for business and media tasks.
MSI has not yet announced pricing details or a release date for the Cubi NUC WCG.
