Financial firm Agente de Remesas y Cambio Moneycorps I.R. has opened a new branch at Plaza Galerías del Este on San Vicente de Paúl Avenue in Santo Domingo Este.
The expansion coincides with the company celebrating 20 years of financial operations in the Dominican Republic. Company president Ingrid Reyes Del Villar led the inauguration ceremony alongside executive Giselle Pérez, staff members, strategic partners, and clients.

Speaking at the event, Reyes Del Villar stated that the new office represents a major step in the company's expansion process. She noted that the launch was especially significant because it coincides with two decades of service in the country.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new branch was performed by Aurelia Melo, Marivel Santiago, Reyes Del Villar, Pérez, and Yoneidy Castillo. Father Quirilio of the local Santa Mónica parish offered a blessing for the new facilities.

Expansion in Santo Domingo Este
The new location strengthens the market presence of Moneycorps in Santo Domingo Este, one of the main commercial and residential municipalities in the Dominican capital region. Located on San Vicente de Paúl Avenue, the facility provides accessible financial services to thousands of residents and local businesses.
Over two decades of operation, Moneycorps has built a business model focused on currency exchange, family remittance transfers, and international corporate transactions. The company operates as a regulated institution committed to compliance, transparency, and operational security.

Two decades of financial services
Reyes Del Villar emphasized that each new branch opens opportunities for families who receive support from abroad and for companies relying on secure money transfers. She said the company's growth was made possible by the joint efforts and dedication of its team members.
Personal remittances sent by Dominican workers abroad form an essential financial lifeline for families across the country. Financial institutions like Moneycorps facilitate these critical cross-border cash transfers while offering foreign exchange solutions to corporate clients.

The inauguration concluded with a gathering where attendees, including clients and strategic partners, celebrated the 20-year milestone. Reyes Del Villar reaffirmed the firm's commitment to providing fast, safe, and personalized financial services for Dominicans at home and abroad.
