Megan Ramsay, the eldest daughter of television chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay, is engaged to her partner less than a year after her sister Holly married.
The 59-year-old restaurateur disclosed the news during the August 24 episode of Live With Kelly & Mark, sharing that his 28-year-old daughter announced her wedding plans last week.
Speaking on the television show, Ramsay said, "Last week, our other daughter announced her wedding as well. So it’s like, ‘God!’ It’s rolling." While Ramsay did not mention Megan by name on air, his representative confirmed to People that he was referring to his eldest child. The representative added that Megan and her fiancé, whose identity has not been publicly revealed, met through work at the Metropolitan Police in London.
Ramsay and his wife Tana are also parents to Jack, 26, Matilda "Tilly," 24, Oscar, 7, and Jesse, 2. The MasterChef star previously admitted on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2022 that he rarely plays it cool around his children's partners, recalling how he once FaceTimed Megan's former boyfriend Byron during a dinner date after obtaining his phone number from Tilly.
Ramsay said Byron answered the phone shaking as Ramsay told him, "Bryron, it's me. Not your future father-in-law, you little f--k!" Ramsay had previously described Byron as "A bit wet. A little bit sort of, you want a man to date your daughter and he was just a little bit pathetic." Megan quickly ended the call, which Ramsay joked was so rude, adding that he was just in the middle of having a proper chat. Explaining his attitude toward his daughters' suitors, Ramsay said, "I just want the girls to be looked after, and for them to look after each other. You're always anxious about that."
In contrast, Ramsay offered high praise for son-in-law Adam Peaty, who married 26-year-old Holly in December, with the couple currently expecting their first baby together. Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2025, Ramsay said of Peaty, "He’s a very, very nice guy and so down-to-earth. Just so focused and disciplined."
