National messaging service Max has launched a new polling feature for its public channels, enabling administrators to post interactive surveys directly to subscribers. The platform's press service announced that channel managers using Android devices, desktop applications, or web browsers can now create and publish custom polls.
Apple iOS users can access the publishing tool through the mobile web interface of the service. The rollout marks a significant expansion of interactive functionality across the platform, which serves as a national digital communications hub.

To create a poll, channel administrators open the attachment menu inside a channel, select the poll option, and enter a question alongside potential answer choices. Administrators also have the option to attach a custom cover image to the survey to make it more visually prominent for readers.
The feature includes customizable voting settings that allow participants to select multiple answer choices or change their votes after submission. Once a poll goes live in a channel, subscribers can participate and monitor real-time voting results as they accumulate. The author of the poll or an administrator with suitable management permissions can close voting at any time.
Channel testing and feature set
Before launching the feature nationwide, Max conducted a preliminary testing phase with several hundred channel authors. Participants in the test group included writer Alexander Tsypkin, television presenters Tutta Larsen and Maryana Naumova, blogger Vasha Marusya, and media manager Georgy Lobushkin.
Interactive polling tools have become a standard feature across modern messaging services, allowing channel creators, media outlets, and public figures to engage directly with audiences, collect feedback, and gather opinion data. Messaging applications increasingly combine public channel broadcasting with social communication features to retain user activity within a single digital ecosystem.
Platform reach and service suite
According to figures released by the company, the total audience of Max has passed 140 million registered users. The application provides a broad suite of digital services, including text chats, voice and video calling, voice messaging, large file transfers, and integrated monetary transfers.
The platform's information channels are currently operating in a test mode as development continues on public broadcasting tools. Beyond basic communication, contemporary messaging platforms often incorporate financial transactions and media delivery tools to support digital publishing and creator communities.
