Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza, 28, and her fiancé, Portuguese surgeon Luís Ribeirinho, 30, were photographed together on a beach in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, according to Correio da Manhã, which said the pair was pictured at one of the most exclusive and talked-about spots in Europe.
The couple took several dips in the sea and spent time on the loungers of one of the resort's private beach concessions, the outlet reported. Correio da Manhã said the two appeared close throughout and that the happy phase of their relationship was plain to see.
Engagement at Eibsee Lake
The Sardinia sighting came a day after Correio da Manhã reported that Ribeirinho had proposed to Sonza at Eibsee Lake in Germany. Eibsee is an alpine lake in Bavaria, near the foot of the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, and is a well known scenic spot for visitors to the region.
Ribeirinho shared images of the proposal on social media. Sonza responded to the post by writing "noivo," the Portuguese word for fiancé.

Other recognisable figures also reacted to the engagement announcement, Correio da Manhã reported. Inês Tomaz, the wife of Portuguese footballer Bernardo Silva, and actor Miguel Taborda both sent congratulations, while racing driver Bernardo Sousa commented "Yeahhh."
Bernardo Silva is a Portuguese international footballer who plays in the Premier League, one of several well known figures in Portugal who publicly acknowledged the couple's engagement.
