Computer manufacturer Lenovo has seen its IdeaPad Flex 5 convertible laptop reduced to 779 euros on Spanish retail platform PcComponentes in a limited promotion.
The price cut represents a discount of nearly 350 euros from the standard recommended list price of around 1,100 euros, according to technology writer Manuel Sifontes.
PcComponentes, an online technology retailer headquartered in Murcia, regularly lists discounts on personal computers, while Beijing-based Lenovo remains among the largest global computer manufacturers.
Processor power and memory architecture
The convertible laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U central processing unit equipped with eight cores and 16 threads. The processor reaches clock speeds of up to 4.5 GHz, supporting demanding applications, system virtualization, and multitasking across open documents and browser tabs.
The AMD Ryzen 7 series competes directly with Intel Core i7 mobile processors, offering multi-threaded architecture designed to execute complex tasks while maintaining power efficiency in thin laptops.
System memory consists of 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM running at 4266 MHz. Storage is provided by a 512 GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 solid state drive designed for quick data transfers and fast boot times on the pre-installed Windows 11 Home operating system.
Display features and battery performance
The device features a 14-inch IPS touchscreen with a WUXGA resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels, delivering 300 nits of brightness. The 16:10 aspect ratio offers additional vertical screen space designed for reading, software programming, and photo editing.
Standard WUXGA displays offer 120 additional vertical lines of resolution compared to traditional 16:9 Full HD panels, allowing documents and code editors to show more lines of text on screen without scrolling.
A 360-degree rotation hinge allows the chassis to transition between traditional laptop, standalone view, and tablet modes. Built in an Abyss Blue finish, the ultracompact chassis includes a 52.5 Wh battery featuring quick charge capability that provides up to two hours of operational time from a 15-minute charge.
Connectivity hardware and retailer coverage
Hardware connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standards, alongside a fingerprint scanner for biometric login. Physical connections include a USB-C port with video output capability and a Full HD 1080p webcam fitted with a manual privacy shutter.
