The controversial performance was broadcast on the show Magaly TV: La Firme, where television host Magaly Medina questioned what was wrong with the performers and stated that such actions should not be done. Saldaña had previously accused Óscar Custodio of harassment and released text messages indicating that her bandmates knew about harassment by César Chávez.
The concert in Tarapoto marked the group's return to the stage amidst ongoing controversy. During the presentation, Urbina and Dávila made indirect comments asserting that everything would be revealed and that better things were ahead. They also engaged in unusual behavior on stage by touching each other while laughing, which Medina described as a direct mockery of videos showing the group director performing inappropriate touching without consent.
Stage Performance Backlash
The performance generated strong criticism against both artists, prompting Urbina to address the issue publicly without offering an apology for the stage portrayal. Urbina shared a message exchange with a female critic who condemned the onstage images using explicit insults and called the singers envious of Saldaña. Urbina expressed displeasure with the tone of the criticism and urged people to stop the verbal abuse, asking everyone to please stop because enough was enough.
Dávila supported Urbina by reposting her message on social media, though she also did not apologize for the stage mock incident. This was not the first time Urbina faced criticism regarding the case. During a prior press conference, Urbina described the sexual freedom offense as an embarrassing incident, sparking further public outrage.
