Greek radio producer Kostas Sitopoulos has died, following an announcement made by fellow presenter Yiota Tsimprikidou on Wednesday, August 12.
Sitopoulos was a prominent voice on Greek airwaves, spending eight years presenting weekend broadcasts on the Athens radio station 92.9 Kiss alongside earlier work at Village FM and Radio Gold.

Tsimprikidou wrote that Sitopoulos and fellow producer Peter Yiamarelos brought her to Village FM after listening to her on Radio Gold. She recalled attending their first meeting in an office on Kifisos Avenue in Athens, where they sat on cardboard boxes during the station's launch phase.
She noted that they went on to work together in radio for a full decade, describing the broadcasting team as a magical group that Sitopoulos constantly supported. Reflecting on their shared laughter, goals, and friendship, she expressed her gratitude to Sitopoulos and offered her final farewell.
