Medina commented that Rivadeneira appeared to want the evening to mark a major milestone following her separation from Mario Hart, hoping to show all of Peru how attractive she looked while dancing.
Medina described how Rivadeneira ran after the vocalist to dance for him, only for Montenegro to turn his back on her while cameras were recording. The television host noted that while Rivadeneira looked attractive, it did not prevent the awkward outcome because the singer paid no attention to her.
The host added that the younger singer might have felt Rivadeneira was too old for him and should go take care of her children, pointing out that Montenegro turned away to watch another dancer standing next to him instead.
