Actor Kit Harington is open to playing Jon Snow again in a proposed Game of Thrones spinoff series after taking time away from the character.
Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Harington said he now believes there is a world in which a spinoff project could work. His comments mark a shift from two years ago, when he confirmed that plans for a standalone series centered on his character had been shelved.
Harington portrayed Jon Snow across eight seasons of Game of Thrones, the HBO fantasy drama adapted from author George R.R. Martin's books. The character, a heroic warrior who served as Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, became one of the central figures of the series, which ran from 2011 until its final episode in 2019.

During his appearance on the podcast hosted by Josh Horowitz, Harington explained that time away from the franchise has reshaped his perspective. He said he now feels more comfortable with the character of Jon Snow, the fantasy world of Westeros, and the place both occupy in his personal life.
