Greek singer Katerina Stikoudi has announced the death of her father following a personal post shared on social media on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Stikoudi paid tribute to her father on her Instagram account by publishing a photograph of him from his childhood years alongside a message sharing family memories.

In her dedicated post, the performer stated that her son, Nikolas, closely resembles her late father in both physical appearance and personal character.

Family Memories and Previous Reflection

The singer added that her son Nikolas remains the only person in her life who reflects her father's spirit and soul.

Stikoudi has generally kept her family life private, but she previously addressed her deep affection for her parents during a television appearance.

Speaking on The 2night Show in December 2024, an emotional Stikoudi publicly expressed her love for her mother and father, noting that she had never openly declared it on television before.

During that interview, she wished both of her parents continued good health and admitted that the preceding months had involved a challenging period for her family.

Hospital Visits and Message on Time

The artist disclosed during her broadcast appearance that her family had dealt with multiple hospital admissions in the period leading up to the interview.

She urged viewers not to postpone spending time with loved ones, emphasizing that people often mistakenly act as though time is unlimited.

Stikoudi encouraged people to take immediate action whenever they think of spending time with family, such as taking a walk or seeing a film, rather than delaying plans until the next day.

Her social media announcement of her father's passing on October 6 was reported by journalist Georgia Kotzia.
