Peruvian television presenter Karina Rivera is returning to the small screen on August 24 to co-host a new social service program on Panamericana Televisión.
Rivera will host La Calle No Calla alongside presenters Paco Flores and Nadia Tarazona, marking her return to television following a multi-year absence from broadcasting.
The weekday program will air Monday through Friday at 3:00 p.m. as the country's first multi-platform social initiative. Beyond reporting public complaints and community cases, the show aims to actively secure solutions, highlight stories of assistance, and arrange emotional family reunions.

Rivera stated that La Calle No Calla was designed to function beyond standard television broadcasting by operating as a continuous 24-hour service platform. She explained that the show would use social media networks around the clock to track missing persons, follow up on unresolved cases, and provide direct assistance to citizens.
Speaking about her arrival at Panamericana Televisión, the presenter expressed great joy at joining the network family, calling it her new home. In a social media statement, she said she was very happy to return to television with a program focused on a clear social purpose, promising to see viewers soon.
In a preview trailer, Rivera announced her official comeback, adding that she was returning to help audiences continue dreaming through stories that would bring great joy.
Afternoon telenovelas and co-hosting duties
In addition to her primary role on La Calle No Calla, Rivera is expanding her presence on the channel through a triple presentation role. She will host the network's afternoon drama block, presenting popular telenovelas La Hija del Mariachi and Ana de Nadie immediately following the main social program.
The broadcast host, who was previously married to actor Orlando Fundichely, has also spoken openly about personal challenges prior to her screen return. Rivera revealed that she had suffered the loss of a baby in the past, sending kisses to heaven in memory of her child, and disclosed that she experienced deep depression after hitting rock bottom following her separation from Fundichely.
Rivera first rose to national prominence in Peruvian entertainment during the 1990s as the co-creator and host of the hit children's television series Karina y Timoteo. Panamericana Televisión, founded in 1959, is one of Peru's principal broadcast networks, operating nationwide from its headquarters in Lima. Her former husband, Cuban-born actor Orlando Fundichely, is widely known across Latin America for his roles in major television soap operas.
