Filmmaker James Cameron has announced plans to prepare his final career act and eventually retire from directing movies, according to World of Reel. The director of Avatar, Titanic, and The Terminator said he wants his last project to bring the greatest possible benefit.

Cameron noted that he remains in the planning phase of his final stage. He added that he does not know whether this concluding period will last for one year or 20 years.
Future Projects and Avatar Sequel
Earlier in the year, the director considered filming Avatar 4 to be a suitable conclusion to his career. However, he has since seriously reconsidered the overall costs and scale of the project.
The Canadian director and producer previously joined the list of billionaires. Most of his wealth comes from earnings generated by his films.
