Greek singer Michalis Hatzigiannis paid tribute to Giorgos Mazonakis, singing the chorus of one of the late performer's biggest hits in a video shared on social media.

Mazonakis died at the age of 54. The circumstances of his death are under investigation at the Stem Cell clinic in the Kolonaki district of Athens. His death has shocked both the Greek public and the country's entertainment industry.
Dozens of his fellow artists have said goodbye to him, some from the stage during their own performances and others through social media, following his death.
Hatzigiannis chose the second route. In his video, he performed the chorus of "I Belong to Myself" ("Aniko se Mena"), one of Mazonakis's most successful songs. Hatzigiannis dedicated the tribute to his friend Giorgos, adding that his beloved friend would be missed.
