"170 Square Meters (Moonwalk)", written by Giorgis Tsouris, is returning for an eighth season starting Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Diana Theatre in Athens, for a limited number of performances.
The play has run for seven theatrical seasons, with more than 520 performances and 130,000 spectators in Greece and Cyprus. It won Tsouris the Dimitris Horn theatrical award, according to the report, and established him as one of the notable voices in contemporary Greek theater. Tsouris also created the works "Johnny Blue," "Hartopolemos" and "Makria apo Paidia."
The story is set in a small provincial Greek town, where the death of a father brings two estranged sisters back under the same roof. Tensions rise between the younger sister, who is pregnant, her partner, and the older sister, who returns home after years away intending to sell the house.
An afternoon visit upsets the already unstable situation among the characters, confronting them with their past, present and future, according to the source material. Hidden secrets and revelations follow, in what is described as an emotional family showdown.
Part of a trilogy
"170 Square Meters," together with "Makria apo Paidia" and "Hartopolemos," form a dramatic trilogy titled "Family Home: Family in Greece Today." The trilogy was created by the theatrical organization MA NON TROPPO, run by Tsouris and Valia Papakonstantinou, which marks 13 years of continuous presence on Athens stages this year.

Direction is by Giorgos Paloumpis, with dramaturgical work by Paloumpis and Papakonstantinou. Music and video installation are by Tsouris, and photography is by Patroklos Skafidas.
