Former Survivor contestant Elizabeth Elechi has taken her newborn son to Saint Nektarios church in Voula alongside her husband Nektarios Lemonidis to receive a blessing.

Elechi announced the church visit on Instagram on Saturday, August 8, sharing photographs of the religious service with her followers after becoming a parent for the first time.

Premature birth and hospital stay
The media personality gave birth to her son on May 26 while in her 31st week of pregnancy. Following his premature delivery, the newborn was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for treatment before doctors discharged him to go home.

In earlier comments regarding her son, Elechi stated that the infant had spent two months in intensive care and said that becoming a mother had changed her entire life.

Blessing at Saint Nektarios church
Writing on social media after the ceremony, Elechi stated that she and her husband had received the blessing for their son at Saint Nektarios, whom she identified as the child's patron saint.

She described the service as a very special moment filled with blessing, love, and emotion. Elechi expressed her hope that her son would remain healthy, enlightened, and protected, adding that she wished for the blessing of Saint Nektarios to guide him through every step of his life.
