US President Donald Trump stated that life in hell could begin in the United States by the end of the year, according to RIA Novosti.
Speaking to supporters in Las Vegas, Trump said the threat comes from Democrats running for seats in Congress who sympathize with socialist ideology. He told the crowd that by the end of the year there would be nothing left but death, poverty, life in hell, dirt, crime, destruction, and shame.
Trump added that Democratic candidates for elected office who make promises aligned with socialist ideas represent the greatest threat to the country.
Sanctions bill criticism
Earlier, Democrats criticized a new bill concerning sanctions against Russia, arguing it served as a pretext to give Trump broad powers to impose tariffs. Lawmakers stated that the initiative was written with vague phrasing.
