Peruvian content creator Doménico Benavides has publicly denied allegations made by a former partner regarding an emergency contraception dispute during their 2022 relationship.
Benavides, a member of the digital platform Zaca TV and the son of Peruvian comedic actor Alfredo Benavides, broke his silence during a video stream on Tuesday where he presented screenshots of text messages exchanged with his former partner, identified as Pierina. He insisted that her public account of their past relationship did not reflect the truth.
Allegations over emergency contraception
The dispute arose after Pierina posted a video on social media detailing her experiences during their relationship four years ago. Although she did not explicitly state his full name in the video, she included descriptions pointing to the brother of content creator Giacomo Benavides and urged him to publish their private messaging history.

He stated that under normal circumstances he would never choose to expose intimate matters involving any woman, as that was not how he conducted himself.
Benavides said he felt forced to clarify the facts after being identified as the central figure in a narrative that he characterized as untrue. He noted that Pierina had invited him to publish their conversations after he commented on her video.
During the live stream, Benavides displayed screenshots of their message exchanges, asserting that the records demonstrated a mutual agreement between them regarding the incident. He explained that after being intimate, both of them individually experienced concern over a potential pregnancy, leading to a mutual decision that she would take the medication.
