Peruvian television personality Deysi Araujo faces potential prison time under a prosecutor investigation into alleged drug trafficking money laundering, she revealed in a television interview.
The former vedette spoke out during an interview on the Sunday investigative program Dia D, broadcast on the Peruvian network ATV, where she rejected any connection to illicit drug activities and asserted her innocence.

According to information released during the broadcast, the prosecutor investigation targeting Araujo dates back 12 years. The ongoing legal process carries potential criminal penalties for the show business figure, who acknowledged her fear of being sent to prison as prosecutors continue their inquiry.

Araujo broke down in tears while describing alleged discrimination from fellow residents in her San Isidro building, claiming that neighbors ran away whenever they saw her. However, she subsequently won a legal suit against her neighbors regarding access to the building's common areas, which she announced she would celebrate alongside fellow entertainment personalities Susy Diaz and Negra Petroleo.
