Peruvian content creator Curwen Caballero and his partner Carla Campos Salazar have deleted their engagement photoshoot from Instagram following nightclub footage showing Campos with another man.
The decision to remove the romantic images on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, came ten months after the couple announced their engagement, despite having kept the photos on their profiles for several hours after the video aired.
Television host Magaly Medina broadcast the secret camera footage on Monday, August 17, 2026, capturing Campos at a nightclub alongside Alonso Grimaldo. The entertainment program suggested that the pair shared a kiss while dancing together and holding each other.
Caballero defended his partner following the broadcast, stating that the interaction was simply a friendly greeting rather than a kiss on the mouth. He announced plans to take legal action over the coverage and asserted that critics have long tried to force them apart.
Caballero said that detractors had long fabricated claims of infidelity against Campos. He stated that critics target her because she lacks a public platform to respond, is shy, and avoids controversy, adding that while the claims distress her, they do not bother him. He requested that critics leave her in peace and direct their attention solely at him.
