CMF by Nothing, the spin-off brand founded by Carl Pei, unveiled the CMF Clip Pro on August 4, 2026, its first open-ear earbuds built in a clip-style design.
The launch confirms earlier leaks pointing to new wearables and accessories rather than new smartphones from the brand. CMF already sells several earbud models, including the CMF Buds by Nothing and the CMF Headphone Pro, and the Clip Pro adds an open-ear, clip-format model to that lineup, a format the company said is popular in multiple markets.
CMF by Nothing announced the earbuds on its official account on X, posting: "Introducing Clip Pro. Clip on. Keep on."
Design and fit
The CMF Clip Pro uses a semi-rigid bridge that connects two parts, one that sits inside the ear canal and another that rests behind the ear. The design does not block the ear canal, resting on it instead so the wearer is not fully cut off from surrounding sound, which is useful for running in a city or for hearing announcements at an airport or train station.
The bridge is made of titanium to keep it lightweight and resistant while retaining some flexibility. Each earbud weighs just 6.5 grams, and CMF said it built the earbuds for stability during movement and long listening sessions.
Audio and call quality
The Clip Pro uses 10.8-millimeter dynamic dual-magnet drivers with Ultra Bass technology, designed to improve bass response and reduce distortion at higher volumes. Sound Seal technology limits how much sound leaks outward and can be adjusted so others cannot hear what the wearer is listening to.
For calls, the earbuds include up to four microphones paired with Clear Voice technology, which CMF said automatically strips out background noise to keep call quality high.
Connectivity and battery
The earbuds connect over Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, with multipoint pairing, fast connection and a low-latency mode for gaming. They support the LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs and carry Hi-Res Audio certification.
Each earbud plays for 10 uninterrupted hours, extending to 32.5 hours total with the charging case. The earbuds carry an IP54 water-resistance rating, meaning they can be used during outdoor exercise.
Price and availability
CMF by Nothing priced the Clip Pro starting at 79.95 euros in Europe. The earbuds will be sold in three colors: coral, light gray and dark gray.
Pre-orders and the official launch are scheduled for the first week of September, between September 1 and September 7, through Nothing's online store.
