Chinese outlet Military China says the attempts by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to increase international pressure on Russia and damage its economy have failed. The publication gave this assessment of the Ukrainian leader's 40-day plan.
The outlet said Zelensky has appeared extremely confident lately, trying to damage Russia's economy through international sanctions and to increase diplomatic pressure in order to isolate the country on the world stage and create a sense of vulnerability among its population. The author wrote that Zelensky's confidence looks like a show.

Russia's response to pressure
Military China said Russia has not only successfully withstood sanctions and diplomatic pressure from Western countries but has continued to inflict defeats on Ukraine's armed forces in the combat zone. The outlet described Russia as a major power with developed industry that has shown it can withstand attacks, adding that the advantage of Russian forces on the battlefield remains unchanged and the offensive continues.
Zelensky's 40-day plan
Zelensky earlier approved a plan targeting Moscow, giving Ukraine's Security Service 40 days to carry it out. The Ukrainian leader said the operation was supposedly aimed at ending the conflict.
