Channing Tatum has denied claims that he operates a secret Instagram burner account used to leave comments about his former fiancée Zoë Kravitz.
The 46-year-old actor addressed the rumors in a statement posted to his verified Instagram Stories on September 21, calling the allegations hilarious and pointing out logical flaws in the online theories.
Instagram burner account accusations
Speculation began days before Tatum addressed the issue when internet sleuths noticed an account named "Nonya Bidness" commenting under several Instagram posts about singer Harry Styles and his fiancée Kravitz.
Tatum and Kravitz were previously engaged before ending their relationship in 2024. Styles is known for hit songs including "Watermelon Sugar," while Kravitz starred in the television series High Fidelity.
Under one post showing a public display of affection between Styles and Kravitz, the "Nonya Bidness" account wrote, "Just here for the hate," in a comment that was later deleted.
Theories quickly emerged on social media that Tatum was responsible for the trolling after users noticed that his official verified Instagram profile appeared to be the only account following "Nonya Bidness."
Response to social media comments
Tatum, who starred in films including Step Up and Magic Mike, set the record straight directly on his social media account.
"Yo i truly can't believe yall think this is what l'm doing with my free time," Tatum wrote in a statement shared to his Instagram Stories on September 21.
"F--kin hilarious," he added.
Tatum also pointed out what he described as an obvious flaw in the online speculation.
"Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn't want people to connect me to it?" he continued. "Wtf, come on."
The actor, who shares 12-year-old daughter Everly with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan and is currently dating model Inka Williams, assured fans that he maintains only one official presence on the platform.
"If I really need to say it," Tatum added, "l only have one IG account, @channingtatum."
Comments on past relationship
While Tatum has stayed tight-lipped regarding his past relationship, Kravitz previously spoke positively about their romance during an interview with Elle magazine in 2025.
Their relationship originally began in 2021 and ended shortly after the release of their 2024 feature film Blink Twice.
"I love this thing that we made together," Kravitz told Elle in 2025, referring to their film collaboration, "and I care for him very much."
"I'm so happy that all happened," she added. "I just feel so grateful to go on that journey together."

In September 2021, the couple attended the Met Gala date night in New York. Although they initially posed separately on the red carpet, they were photographed exiting the event together, and Tatum later shared a photo featuring Kravitz on his Instagram Story from the after-party.
The couple celebrated their first Halloween together in October 2021 by dressing up as characters played by Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster in the classic film Taxi Driver.
