Turkish discount supermarket chain BIM will offer a Prozone portable laptop screen extender for 14,900 TL starting September 2. The product release marks the first time that BIM stores have carried this type of multi-display computer hardware in their promotional line-up.
The Prozone accessory mounts onto laptops ranging from 12 to 17 inches in size, placing two 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display panels on either side of the primary screen. The dual monitors expand total screen space for multitasking, allowing professionals and gamers to run multiple applications side by side.
Power and video signal delivery to the screen extender operate through two connection methods depending on laptop hardware. Users can connect the accessory directly using DisplayPort-compatible USB Type-C ports without needing an additional external power source. Alternatively, the unit can connect through HDMI while drawing required power via a USB Type-C cable connection. The extender itself is equipped with four built-in USB Type-C ports and two mini HDMI ports to support various cable configurations.
