Google may boost the maximum digital zoom on the base Pixel 11 to 30x, according to new marketing materials published by insider Evan Blass.
One image shows a photo labeled "30x Zoom," which would exceed last year's Pixel 10, limited to 20x Super Res Zoom.
Earlier leaks had indicated the base model would not get the new telephoto lens reportedly planned for the Pro versions. Because of this, the higher zoom is most likely the result of improved image processing algorithms rather than new camera hardware.
Gemini Live and new colors
The phone will reportedly be able to analyze objects through the camera in Gemini Live mode, and use context from a previous conversation to automatically draft message replies. Four colors for the base Pixel 11 have also been confirmed: Midnight, Fuchsia, Moss and Sterling.
Google is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 11 lineup, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, at its Made by Google event in New York on August 12.
Prices for all Google Pixel 11 models were recently leaked online ahead of the presentation, and Google has also shown off the Pixel 11 Pro, teasing a new indicator near the cameras.
