ASUS has officially started sales of its updated Zenbook 14 UX3480 ultrabook series in Ukraine, introducing light designs equipped with artificial intelligence processors.
The new generation of 14-inch laptops weighs from 1.1 kilograms and introduces a high-tech Ceraluminum lid coating that combines aluminum alloy strength with a stone-like texture.
ASUS, a multinational computer hardware manufacturer headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, designs its Zenbook lineup for premium portability and performance. Ultrabooks represent a category of thin, lightweight laptops designed to offer long battery life without sacrificing computing speed.
Processor Options and Artificial Intelligence Capabilities
Buyers in Ukraine can select from three processor platforms, each featuring a dedicated neural processing unit to accelerate artificial intelligence tasks. The Intel Core Ultra Series 3 model UX3480AA features an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor with a neural processing module performance of 49 trillion operations per second.
The AMD Ryzen AI 300 model UX3480KA operates on an AMD Ryzen AI 7 345 processor with AMD XDNA 2 neural processing that reaches up to 50 trillion operations per second. The Snapdragon X model UX3480QA relies on an eight-core Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor with a Qualcomm Hexagon neural unit offering 45 trillion operations per second.
Neural processing units are specialized microchips engineered to run machine learning algorithms locally on personal devices rather than relying on cloud servers. Trillion operations per second, abbreviated as TOPS, measures how quickly an AI accelerator executes complex computational tasks.
All models in the series meet the requirements for ASUS Copilot+ PC status and support integrated Windows smart tools. These include real-time image creation through Cocreator, automatic translation and Live Captions subtitle generation, enhanced Windows Studio Effects for video calls, and the ASUS StoryCube media organizer.
Display Technology and Battery Performance
Every laptop in the lineup features an ASUS OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and full coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The screen produces deep black levels while emitting 70 percent less harmful blue light to minimize eye fatigue during extended use.
Organic Light-Emitting Diode technology uses self-illuminating pixels that turn off completely to achieve true blacks and high contrast ratios. The DCI-P3 color gamut is an industry standard for digital cinema, ensuring vivid and accurate color reproduction for creative tasks.
Depending on the configuration, the Zenbook 14 carries either a 50 watt-hour or 70 watt-hour battery capable of delivering up to 33 hours of continuous operation. Users can recharge the laptop with standard mobile phone chargers or external power banks using USB-C Easy Charge technology.
The Ceraluminum lid coating renders the top of the chassis 30 percent lighter and three times stronger than standard aluminum. The laptop has passed MIL-STD-810H military durability standards and comes in three color finishes: Arctic Blue, Komodo Coral, and Zabriskie Beige.
MIL-STD-810H is a United States military standard that tests equipment against environmental stress, including drop tests, vibration, extreme temperatures, and moisture. Compliance indicates that consumer hardware can withstand everyday bumps and harsh travel conditions.
Warranty Protection and Retail Availability
ASUS includes its Perfect Warranty loyalty program with each purchase, offering free repair for one instance of accidental damage within the first year. The coverage protects against accidental coffee spills on the keyboard, drops from desks, and electrical power surges, provided owners register their device in their ASUS account within 90 days.
Purchasers of the new Zenbook 14 also receive three months of free access to the Google AI Pro service with five terabytes of cloud storage. Owners of select previous ASUS and ROG laptops can also claim three months of Google AI Pro or Google AI Plus with 400 gigabytes of cloud space by logging into the MyASUS application.
