German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt said an explosive drone found at Leipzig/Halle Airport represents a hybrid attack scenario, Russian news agency TASS reported.
Dobrindt stressed that the situation is directly linked to security. He noted that the drone was equipped with explosives, calling it a fundamentally new level of threat.
Drone Intercepted Near Ukrainian Aircraft
The drone was equipped with a fuse and had previously paralyzed operations at Leipzig/Halle Airport. It was found near a Ukrainian Antonov aircraft before an airport worker intercepted it.
