Greek actress Vicky Kavoura has revealed that her husband, former international footballer Giorgos Tzavellas, immediately shuts down any woman who attempts to flirt with him.
Speaking on the morning television show Happy Day on Monday, October 26, Kavoura explained that she feels no urge to intervene when other women approach her husband. She said that Tzavellas establishes his own boundaries straight away, even when faced with an unusual or suggestive look.

The actress initially addressed the situation with humour during the broadcast. Laughing, she joked that if another woman flirted with him, she would not react, but that woman would simply never be able to flirt again.
She quickly made clear that she was only teasing. Kavoura praised her husband for stepping in himself, calling his reaction very nice, and noted that whenever he receives a look that goes slightly too far, he ends the exchange instantly. She added that she maintains the exact same boundary herself.
Parenting demands and nightlife
Kavoura also addressed why she and Tzavellas are almost never seen together at public social events. She explained that the couple go nowhere at all, describing the opening years of raising a young child as a difficult period for any household.
The challenge is especially acute for families who do not have outside childcare support, she noted. Under those circumstances, parents often find that either one person goes out alone or the other does.
In their case, Kavoura explained, neither partner goes out anywhere. By late evening, she said, both she and her husband are completely exhausted and fast asleep.
The couple welcomed their daughter into a demanding daily schedule that leaves little room for social outings. Kavoura pointed out that managing daily family life without extra assistance at home forces new parents to adjust their expectations, making quiet evenings at home the only realistic choice.
Four-year relationship and wedding
The couple married on Saturday, May 30, after four years of dating. On the same day, they held a joint ceremony to baptise their daughter, giving her the double name Matthildi-Rafaëlia.
Combining a wedding and a christening on the same afternoon has become an increasingly popular tradition among modern couples in Greece. The joint celebration allowed the family to mark both major milestones on a single weekend alongside their closest relatives and friends.
The recent television appearance follows earlier candid remarks Kavoura made on October 20 about the realities of marriage. Reflecting on their initial meeting, the actress said that from the very first moment she saw Tzavellas, she knew he was the man of her life.
At the same time, Kavoura acknowledged that maintaining a relationship requires effort from both sides. She observed that when partners drift apart after the arrival of a new baby, both individuals share the blame for the distance that develops.
Careers on stage and pitch
Kavoura has built a well known career in Greek entertainment, working across television, cinema, and theatre. Over the years, she has taken on prominent roles in Greek comedies and television series, while also working as a presenter and model.
Tzavellas is equally familiar to Greek audiences through his long career in top flight European football. Playing primarily as a left back and central defender, he earned nearly fifty appearances for the Greece national team, representing his country at the 2012 European Championship.
His club career took him across several European leagues, including stints in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt and in France with Monaco. In Greece, he featured prominently for historic clubs such as Panionios, PAOK, and AEK Athens, before later playing in Turkey for Alanyaspor and returning to Greece with Atromitos.
The couple frequently attract attention in the Greek press, where the morning magazine show Happy Day on Alpha TV regularly tracks the personal lives and relationships of the country's most prominent public figures.
