Venezuelan actress Vanessa Silva has announced she is three months pregnant with her first child alongside her husband, musician José Luis Graterol. The star, best known for playing Alma in the popular Peruvian telenovela Luz de Luna, shared the news with her followers on social media.
The couple published a video showing them holding an ultrasound scan of their baby. Writing online, Silva described the pregnancy as a new chapter in their lives and a dream come true, adding that they love their baby with all their hearts and are waiting with great excitement.

Early pregnancy and gender reveal
Following the initial announcement, Silva used Instagram Stories to share details of her first few months of gestation. She explained that her baby bump is not yet clearly visible, noting that she wakes up with a flat stomach but experiences bloating as the day progresses, though she expects her bump to show soon.
Silva also hosted a question and answer session on Instagram to interact with fans about her journey. During the session, she revealed that the couple will announce the gender of their baby on August 29.
Planning for parenthood
Addressing how the pregnancy came about, Silva confirmed that having a child was a deliberate choice made after extensive conversations with Graterol. She stated that she had a strong desire to become a mother and that the couple began trying for a baby shortly after deciding to expand their family.
According to the actress, the couple conceived just 20 days after they stopped using protection. She noted that they carefully planned every aspect of the process, recognizing the immense responsibility of bringing a child into the world, and expressed confidence that she now possesses all the tools necessary for motherhood.
Silva gained widespread recognition in Peru for her starring role as Alma in Luz de Luna, a television drama broadcast on América Televisión. Graterol is a Venezuelan singer and musician who has built his career alongside Silva in the entertainment industry.
