Turkish fighter jets and unmanned aircraft carried out 18 violations of Greek national airspace and six violations of the Athens Flight Information Region (FIR) on Monday.

Greek F-16 fighter jets identified and intercepted the aircraft in response, the standard practice under international rules.
Aircraft involved
The activity involved four Turkish unmanned aircraft and four fighter jets. The fighter jets were unarmed.
Where the violations took place
The activity was recorded in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean.
No engagements between the Turkish aircraft and Greek fighter jets occurred.
