Taemin brings solo Liminal world tour to Lima in November

K-pop star Taemin will perform his first solo concert in Peru on Friday, November 6, 2026, taking the stage at Lima's Arena Monumental.

The performance forms part of the Latin American leg of his Liminal world tour, marking the first time the singer and dancer will headline a concert in the country as an independent solo artist.

The Lima concert follows the performer's historic appearance at the Coachella 2026 music festival in California and arrives in the middle of a concentrated regional trek. The South American journey got underway with a sold-out launch in Mexico City, with subsequent concerts scheduled for Santiago, Chile, and a final regional performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 8.

Latin American tour schedule

The solo debut comes after years of strong local interest in the South Korean performer. Speaking ahead of his arrival in Lima, Taemin said the warmth and affection of his Peruvian fans, known collectively as Taemates, was amazing. He noted that he was especially excited to experience Peru's renowned gastronomy, adding that he wanted to sample the local dishes that colleagues and supporters had frequently recommended to him.

A touring party of more than 40 professionals is accompanying the artist on his journey to the Peruvian capital. The traveling delegation includes backup dancers, personal wardrobe stylists, makeup artists, and technical production specialists responsible for staging the concert.

Stage production and technical design

Organizers have planned a large-scale visual and audio setup to replicate the staging used across earlier stops on the Liminal tour. The production inside the Arena Monumental will incorporate 360-degree stage platforms, three-dimensional LED video screens, 3D visual effects, and mechanical elevators designed to lift the performer above the floor.

The stage setup also features coordinated pyrotechnic displays, synchronized laser systems, and high-specification sound engineering intended to handle the acoustic demands of the venue. The complex staging is built to accommodate the rigorous dance routines and theatrical presentations central to the performer's live catalogue.

Liminal concert setlist and choreography

The planned repertoire for the Lima concert includes more than 20 songs covering Taemin's solo discography, which began in 2014, through his latest musical releases. Concertgoers will see demanding, high-precision choreography alongside multiple wardrobe transformations that showcase his creative development across the past decade.

Based on the opening dates of the Liminal tour, the expected setlist in Lima will feature landmark solo hits including Move, Guilty, Criminal, Advice, Want, Danger, and Idea. The set is also slated to include fan favorites such as Press Your Number, Heaven, 1004, Float, Gooey, Frankenstein, Night Away, The Rizzness, and This Is the End.

Ticket tiers and VIP packages

Tickets for the event are on sale exclusively through the Teleticket online ticketing service. Local promoter Iguana Peru confirmed that the venue has been organized into three main general seating and standing sectors.

Standard admission prices are set at 560 soles for the VIP section, 400 soles for the Platinum section, and 240 soles for the General Grandstand. In addition, statutory concession pricing is available for individuals registered with the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, known in Peru as Conadis. Under the Conadis tier, discounted tickets cost 454.40 soles for VIP, 324.60 soles for Platinum, and 194.80 soles for General Grandstand.

The production company has also introduced two premium VIP packages for fans seeking additional access at the venue. The packages, named LiMiNaLiST and TAEMate, are tied to the VIP sector and cost 1,650 soles and 1,200 soles respectively.

Depending on the specific tier purchased, package holders receive early admission to the Arena Monumental, entry to Taemin's soundcheck rehearsal before the concert, official collectible tour merchandise, and participation in an exclusive photo session with the South Korean artist.

Solo career and SHINee background

Taemin, whose full name is Lee Tae-min, first entered the global music scene in 2008 as the youngest member of the five-piece boy band SHINee. Created by major agency SM Entertainment, SHINee established themselves as one of South Korea's premier vocal and performance groups, helping spearhead the international spread of the Korean Wave through complex choreography and experimental pop productions.

Known across the music industry by the nickname Dancing Machine, Taemin stepped out as a solo artist in 2014 with the release of his debut solo mini-album. Over the ensuing decade, his solo work earned wide critical praise for pushing boundaries in choreography and artistic presentation, establishing him as one of the most respected performers among fellow K-pop idols.

The upcoming Lima concert gives Peruvian audiences their first opportunity to witness his solo show in person before the artist completes his South American schedule and travels onward.
