Sharon Osbourne visits Ozzy Osbourne's grave every day

Sharon Osbourne visits the grave of her late husband Ozzy Osbourne every day at their English estate, admitting she will never get over his loss.

Speaking in an interview with the BBC published on Monday, October 26, the 74-year-old television personality reflected on her grief following the death of the legendary rock singer, who died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76.

Osbourne explained that losing the love of one's life meant a person does not simply wake up one morning and declare themselves cured or completely recovered. She said she believes that nobody ever truly gets over the loss of a spouse, but rather that one learns to live with the pain, describing that daily adjustment as the process she is currently trying to manage.

She observed that anyone dealing with such overwhelming grief faces two stark paths. A person can either stay locked inside a room and refuse to leave, or choose to accept what has happened, make peace with the painful reality, and continue with life.

Private burial in Buckinghamshire

The singer's final resting place is located on the grounds of the family home in Buckinghamshire, England. Sharon revealed that she can see the burial site directly from her window, allowing her to pay her respects every morning without needing to leave her property.

Sharon stated that there was never any chance she would bury Ozzy in a public cemetery. Having witnessed what happens to other deceased public figures whose graves become public attractions, she said peace is impossible when crowds constantly gather to pay tribute, adding that her priority was ensuring her husband could rest undisturbed.

Medical causes and health battles

According to the singer's death certificate, which was obtained by People magazine, Ozzy died as a result of cardiac arrest and an acute myocardial infarction. The official document also identified coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease as significant secondary causes contributing to his death.

The heavy metal icon had publicly disclosed his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease in 2020 after years of escalating health complications, which included severe spinal trauma from a fall and multiple corrective operations. Those physical challenges eventually forced his retirement from regular concert touring after more than five decades on the stage.

Osbourne rose to international fame during the 1970s as the frontman of Black Sabbath, helping define the heavy metal genre with seminal tracks such as Paranoid, War Pigs and Iron Man. After departing the band, he launched a celebrated solo career featuring hits like Crazy Train and Bark at the Moon, earning dual induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Final concert and wedding anniversary

The BBC interview follows comments Sharon made on October 16, 2026, when she revealed that medical specialists had warned the couple that performing his final live concert would kill him if he went ahead with the appearance.

The couple would have celebrated 46 years of marriage on July 6, 2026. Marking the date earlier in the year, Sharon honored their decades together by describing the milestone as the celebration of a lasting love that even death could not diminish.

Sharon met Ozzy in 1970 when her father, Don Arden, was managing Black Sabbath. She took over Ozzy's personal management in 1979 following his dismissal from the group, guiding his solo career and later co-founding the touring metal festival Ozzfest before the family found mainstream television fame on the MTV reality series The Osbournes.
