Speaking to news agency RIA Novosti, the unmanned systems unit member called drone modernization a natural process. He said the entire front line currently relies on drones.

Donor described the current conflict as a drone war, noting that heavy equipment on the front line has decreased, leaving mostly drones and groups of soldiers. He added that drones cost significantly less than heavy machinery.

Gerbera UAV Modifications

The report follows earlier disclosures about the Russian Gerbera unmanned aerial vehicle receiving an enlarged version compared to its base model. The larger variant can accommodate a more powerful internal combustion engine, a warhead weighing up to 50 kilograms, or an expanded fuel tank.
