Rosoboronexport will showcase the Citadel anti-aircraft artillery complex and Drok self-propelled mortar at the ADEX 2026 international defense exhibition in Azerbaijan.
The state-owned agency announced the planned exhibition display through its press service, in statements reported by Russian state news agency TASS. Rosoboronexport operates as Russia's sole official state intermediary for exports and imports of defense products, supplying military equipment to international defense customers worldwide.
According to the company press service, Rosoboronexport Director General Alexander Mikheev said the organization's 2026 exhibition stand would focus on displaying the most relevant weapons platforms that have accumulated extensive practical combat experience.
Visitors to the international defense exhibition in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan situated on the Caspian Sea, will be shown a wide selection of unmanned aerial systems and military hardware. The display highlights the Lancet-E reconnaissance and strike complex, manufactured by drone developer ZALA, alongside the S-350M-E reconnaissance drone. ADEX is a major regional defense trade show held in Baku.
Russian military hardware on display
Russian arms manufacturer Kalashnikov Concern is presenting its complete export lineup of KUB loitering munitions alongside the RUS-PE reconnaissance and strike system. Kalashnikov is Russia's largest defense manufacturer and firearms producer, known globally for infantry weapons. Loitering munitions, commonly referred to as kamikaze drones, are remote-guided unmanned aircraft designed to loiter above target areas before detonating on impact.
The Russian exposition in Baku will also feature the Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and gun system, the Radeskan anti-drone complex, and specialized radar equipment operating within airspace control systems. The Pantsir system combines automatic cannons and guided missiles to provide short-range defense against aircraft, precision weapons, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
To engage land force representatives, Rosoboronexport plans to showcase the Iskander-E tactical missile system alongside mobile artillery platforms. The land forces display features the Flox, Drok, and Malva artillery systems. Self-propelled systems such as the Drok mortar are vehicle-mounted artillery units designed to provide rapid, mobile fire support for infantry and tactical combat units.
Integration of air defense systems
The announcement of the Baku exhibition lineup follows earlier statements in September from High-Precision Complexes, a leading Russian defense holding company that specializes in tactical missiles and anti-aircraft weapons. High-Precision Complexes reported that Russian air defense developments can be combined into a single integrated defense contour alongside missile and machine-gun protective systems.
