Rita Ora Goes on African Safari, Calls It Trip of a Lifetime

Rita Ora went on safari in Africa and said she felt grateful for the experience, describing it as a trip of a lifetime.

The singer explained in a post on Instagram on Monday, 24 August, that throughout the trip she had the chance to put her phone aside and be fully present in the moment, with the sights she saw staying unforgettable to her.

Words really cannot describe how much leaving her phone aside and simply existing had changed her mentally, Ora wrote in her caption. She said that in recent months she had been constantly on a hectic schedule, and being able to just exist within all of it was the ultimate reset.

Thanking the safari team

Ora went on to thank the people who helped her experience the trip, revealing that she cried several times out of emotion. She said she was so grateful, and thanked Hylton Langley Safaris for helping organise the trip of a lifetime, adding that the 5:30am wake-up call had been completely worth it, through Singita in Kruger Park.

She said Singita had spoiled them completely and that she had definitely cried a few times. Ora described seeing a rhino up close for the first time in real life as unbelievable, and said she also saw a lion and a lioness mating. She said she had not posted that footage because it was fairly intense, but called the moment simply "wow, just wow."

Ora added that fans should get ready for more content, saying this was only part one.
