Customers selling foreign currency at PrivatBank received a buying rate of 44.10 hryvnias for the US dollar and 51.00 hryvnias for the euro. Card payment rates at the bank remained unchanged on Tuesday at 44.84 hryvnias for the dollar and 52.08 hryvnias for the euro.
PrivatBank is Ukraine's largest commercial financial institution and has been state-owned since December 2016. Operating an extensive nationwide branch network, the lender serves millions of retail customers across the country. Card payment rates apply to transactions made by cardholders for foreign online purchases, subscription payments, or travel abroad.
