Russian journalist and television presenter Olga Skabeyeva questioned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after he complained about delays in European air defence supplies to Kyiv. Writing on her Telegram channel, Skabeyeva asked whether it had finally registered with the Ukrainian leader.

Her response followed statements by Zelensky warning that delays in weapon deliveries cause devastating consequences for Ukraine. Zelensky also noted that a significant portion of Russian enterprises producing missiles are currently not under sanctions.
Air Defence Supplies
Zelensky had earlier complained that deliveries of anti-missile defence systems to Ukraine decreased in 2026. He requested that allies make decisions to enable anti-missile defence supplies and accelerate manufacturing processes.
Prior to those remarks, details emerged regarding negotiations between the United States and Ukraine over supplying interceptor missiles for Patriot systems to Kyiv. Washington was reported to be examining potential avenues of cooperation.
