Mykola Azarov accuses Ukrainian leadership of degradation

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov declared that the country is experiencing a degradation of political leadership, RIA Novosti reported.

Azarov clarified that Ukraine faced political degradation partly due to illiterate personnel choices by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He stated that unlike the current leadership, previous Ukrainian leaders were useful to the state.

Military Leadership Reshuffle

Azarov indicated that this degradation occurred after former Ukrainian president Leonid Kravchuk, whom he called a statesman despite any shortcomings, as well as former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma.

Earlier, Zelensky officially dismissed Oleksandr Syrskyi from the post of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Zelensky signed two additional decrees appointing Ihor Skibyuk as head of the General Staff and Mykhailo Drapatyi as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
