The price reduction applies to the entry-level configuration featuring 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which originally launched at a recommended retail price of €379.
According to reporter Roberto Méndez, this base variant launched several months ago and is stocked by very few merchants, making the promotion at PcComponentes a rare opportunity for prospective buyers. The retailer is providing free shipping on the handset, though listed prices remain subject to change without prior notice.
For consumers seeking extra storage, Amazon is offering the higher-tier 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage edition of the Nothing Phone (4a) for €429 with free delivery. Tech reviewers noted that upgrading to the 256 GB model is the more recommended choice for buyers who have the opportunity.
Transparent design and Glyph Bar lighting
London-based technology brand Nothing has positioned the handset as one of the most distinctive mid-range mobile options released this year. While the device does not match higher-end competitors in every single category, evaluations confirmed it delivers a balanced set of features not found on rival handsets.
The phone features a chassis built from aeronautical aluminum alongside a transparent glass rear panel that reveals part of its internal hardware structure. It also debuts a proprietary lighting system named the Glyph Bar, located on the rear panel.
The Glyph Bar consists of a small lateral strip containing 63 mini-LEDs divided into seven distinct light zones. The illumination system lights up in varying patterns to alert users to incoming calls and app notifications.
It also provides visual indicators for battery charging progress and displays distance countdowns when using ride-hailing services such as Uber.
Display performance and periscope camera
On the front, the Nothing Phone (4a) houses a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED screen featuring a 1.5K resolution and an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate. The display sizing was engineered to enhance ergonomic handling while maintaining a large viewing area.
The panel delivers a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, an illumination level rarely seen even on more expensive flagship mobile devices. The screen is protected against damage by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The camera setup uses a split rear module housing a 50 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera. The periscope lens provides 3.5x optical zoom and extends to a digital zoom of up to 70x magnification.
