Greek musician Miltos Paschalidis has added an extra performance at the Lycabettus Municipal Theatre in Athens on Thursday, September 24, following high demand that sold out his initial concert on Wednesday, September 23.
The announcement follows three consecutive sold-out nights at the Theatre of the Rocks in Vyronas, which drew 20,000 spectators, capping a summer season of full venues across Greece for the artist.
Paschalidis, an established singer and songwriter in Greek folk-rock and entechno music, brings 31 years of recording history to the landmark venue. Situated atop Mount Lycabettus overlooking illuminated Athens, the open-air amphitheatre provides the backdrop for a career-spanning repertoire that has become a staple of contemporary Greek popular music.
Organisers described Paschalidis as reaching a period of rare stage maturity across his 31-year career, highlighting his ability to maintain energy throughout his concerts from opening remarks to the final song. They noted that his performances are built on directness, tenderness, and honesty, creating shared memories with audiences.
Concert repertoire and guest appearances
The setlist at the Lycabettus shows will feature selections from across his discography, including popular tracks such as Kakies Sinitheies, Paramythia, Osa Zoun Lathraia, Ximeromata, and Perseides, alongside older and newer compositions.
Singer-songwriter Pavlina Voulgaraki will join Paschalidis on stage during the Athens concerts. Voulgaraki, who has carved out a distinct presence in modern Greek music through albums such as Lavirinthoi, Mov Kalinychtes, and Lykoi, previously recorded the track Kryfa Tou Kosmou with Paschalidis.
Her guest appearance at Mount Lycabettus continues the duo's artistic partnership from the studio to live performance as the summer concert season comes to a close in the capital.
Musicians and ticket details
Paschalidis will be accompanied by a full live band and technical crew during both autumn dates. The performing lineup includes Thymios Papadopoulos on wind instruments and arrangements, Paris Perisinakis on lyra and mandolin, Niki Grana on accordion and vocals, Yiannis Belonis on piano, Lampis Kountourogliannis on electric guitars, Antonia Tsolaki on bass, and Ilias Doumanis on drums. Paschalis Kolentsis will handle sound engineering, with lighting designed by Manolis Bratsis.
