Kevin Blow denies brutally beating Micheille Soifer

Kevin Blow denies brutally beating Micheille Soifer

Dominican businessman Kevin Blow denied brutally beating his ex-partner, Peruvian singer and television personality Micheille Soifer, during a heated interview with journalist Magaly Medina broadcast on her program on September 10, 2026.

Blow's appearance came after Soifer gave a detailed account of alleged episodes of violence she said she suffered at his hands, speaking for the first time in an interview with journalist Andrea Llosa. Medina reacted with indignation throughout the interview and repeatedly questioned Blow's version of events.

Blow's response to the accusations

Blow was firm from the start of the interview in denying that he had brutally beaten Soifer. When Medina reminded him that he had previously admitted to mistreating her in an audio recording, Blow claimed the recording had been arranged by Soifer and her mother so that it would reach the journalist.

Medina pushed back, telling Blow that he always presents himself as the victim while denying what she described as mutual violence. She asked him directly what it was about Soifer that led him to act the way he did.

Blow responded by referring to what Soifer had told Andrea Llosa, saying that what she recounted was completely untrue. He said Soifer had claimed jealousy was behind the violence, and argued that anyone who knows her knows she is impulsive and jealous, adding that she is the only person who would call him jealous.

Magaly Medina questions his account

Medina told Blow she believed the version given by the host, referring to Soifer's emotional account. Blow said he was not surprised by what he called his ex-partner's victimization, and said the accusations began after he stated, during an appearance on the Peruvian show 'El valor de la verdad', that their relationship had ended because Soifer had been unfaithful to him with a dancer he said was found in the dressing rooms of the América TV network.

Medina countered that no infidelity justifies an assault, let alone one of the scale Soifer had described. Blow said he was not trying to justify anything, only to explain how the mistreatment accusations arose.

Visibly frustrated, Medina repeatedly pressed Blow on whether he had ever hit the singer. He denied it again and again, though he did recall one physical altercation. He said that during what he described as the fourth time Soifer allegedly attacked him, he grabbed her by the hand and told her he would not let go until she apologized.

Interview cut short amid disagreement

In his defense, Blow argued that in cases of violence, a woman's accusation tends to be believed more readily because men have greater physical strength. He went on to accuse Medina of leading him toward certain answers and of being blinded by what he called her feminism.

An irritated Medina replied that she tends to give greater credibility to the woman's version of events given the history of cases involving gender-based violence. She then decided to cut the interview short, saying she did not believe the conversation would lead to any understanding between them.
