Human Centipede director to release documentary on his own death

Tom Six, the Dutch director behind the cult horror film “The Human Centipede,” plans to release a documentary about his own death, Variety reports.

Six has been suffering from multiple sclerosis in recent years, according to sources. His health deteriorated after he was unable to release his planned feature film, “The Masturbators Club.” He decided instead to make a documentary about his illness, titled “The End of Tom Six.”

He will self-distribute the film on August 15 on YouTube and on DVD.

Representatives for the director told journalists that despite enthusiastic fan reviews, an industry dominated by political correctness had rejected his film. The prolonged and grueling struggle had accelerated his illness and destroyed his body, they said, and he was approaching the end of his life.

In 2015, producers of “The Human Centipede 3” published a synopsis for a Six film intended as the concluding part of that trilogy.
