The collision severed an external gas line attached to the structure, igniting escaping fuel and causing flames to spread across an area of 1,500 square metres.
Eyewitness video published on Telegram by the regional news channel Kub Mash captured the immediate aftermath of the crash. The published footage showed heavy black smoke billowing into the sky above the collision site as flames spread from the impacted residence to adjacent commercial retail pavilions and a neighboring two-story house.
According to preliminary information reported by the channel, the driver was travelling at high speed while negotiating a turn. The vehicle swerved off the roadway and collided directly with the building, damaging the gas pipe upon impact.
