Festival history and new features

Festival Presidente returns in 2026 after a nine-year absence, having last taken place in 2017. First established in 1997, the festival historically featured major contemporary Latin pop and urban performers, including earlier appearances by Thalía, Shakira, Alejandro Fernández, and Daddy Yankee.

The 2017 edition included performances by Justin Timberlake, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, and Enrique Iglesias, as well as then-emerging Latin music artists Bad Bunny, Ozuna, and Maluma.

Along with live musical performances, festival organisers stated that the 2026 edition will introduce culinary experiences, brand activations, and designated entertainment spaces for attendees across both days.
