Dimitris Koutsoumbas, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece, stated that his party targets the system of exploitation. Speaking at a political-cultural event of the Atalanti Party Organization of the KKE, he said members are taking a breath to continue the struggle centered on the real needs of the people.
He argued that these needs cannot be solved by the executive-weak and incapable bourgeois state, nor by the costed programs of the government and the convenient opposition parties. He added that the KKE is ahead precisely because it targets the real opponent, which is the system of exploitation, profits, and wars.
