American host Carson Daly received about $6 million, or roughly 489 million rubles, per season hosting the show The Voice, a production crew source told the newspaper The Sun.
The source said the sum included fees for both hosting and producer duties. In early August, it was announced that Daly would stop hosting the show, which he had hosted since its first season. He will remain a producer for the project.
New Host Pay
Actress and singer Keke Palmer will become the new host of The Voice, earning $2 million, or 162 million rubles, for her first season. The source explained that her lower pay is because she will only serve as host.
Former Contestant Fatal Crash
It was previously reported that former American The Voice contestant Dylan Carter died following a severe car crash. The singer suffered heavy injuries and could not be saved.
