Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has released a new antenna called Clover 5.8 GHz, designed for FPV drones and other radio systems.
The antenna operates in the 4.9-6.1 GHz range and, according to the manufacturer, provides stable communication even in difficult conditions.
Design and applications
The company said the antenna uses circular polarization and an omnidirectional radiation pattern, which is meant to help maintain a quality signal even during movement or in demanding operating conditions. It can be used in FPV drones, drone detection systems, radio monitoring complexes and measurement equipment.
Specifications and price
The device weighs 25 grams and has a gain of about 2 dBic. It comes with an SMA male connector and an RG402 cable. According to the developer, these specifications make it easy to integrate the antenna into various types of radio equipment.
Clover 5.8 GHz is already on sale, with a recommended price of 480 hryvnias.
BlueBird Tech recently launched production of the Chipa net-throwing device, which has a range of up to 25 meters. Separately, Ukraine also unveiled the Apus-1 interceptor drone, which can reach speeds of up to 320 km/h.
