International human rights lawyer Amal Clooney visited the Temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens alongside her mother, Baria Alamuddin, taking time away from official duties during the Annual Meeting of UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors.
The 48-year-old attorney, who was accompanied on the Greek trip by her mother, arrived at the ancient landmark where photographers documented their walk through the archaeological site.

Clooney selected a total white suit for the cultural outing. Her ensemble featured wide-leg high-waisted trousers and a white cropped embroidered jacket. She completed the look with black sunglasses, a small beige purse, and styled her hair in loose waves falling over her shoulders.
Alamuddin chose a black-and-white outfit featuring a polka dot pattern and feather trimming along the hem of her top. She paired the look with a red necklace, black sunglasses, a matching black handbag, and black platform shoes.
Diplomatic Meetings and Cultural Advocacy
The Temple of Olympian Zeus stands in central Athens as one of the largest ancient sanctuaries dedicated to the king of the Olympian gods. Clooney travelled to the Greek capital specifically to participate in the annual conference for Goodwill Ambassadors convened by UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
Her archaeological excursion followed high-level official meetings held across the capital. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis hosted Clooney at the Maximos Mansion for talks focused on the Parthenon Sculptures, while Clooney also visited the Presidential Mansion for a meeting with Konstantinos Tasoulas.
Clooney has previously provided legal counsel on international human rights matters and cultural property rights, including Greece's ongoing campaign to secure the return of the Parthenon Sculptures from the British Museum to Athens.
